Taking on the mantle of comedy champions, Vodafone will sponsor the Vodafone Comedy Festival (formerly the Carlsberg Comedy Carnival). The festival will play host to 65 International and Irish acts. Set in the spectacular setting of the Iveagh Gardens near Dublin's city centre, the Vodafone Comedy Festival will showcase a diverse range of well known, alternative and up-and-coming talent.

The international line-up for the Vodafone Comedy Festival features American cult heroes Tim & Eric, performing for the first time in Europe, multiple award winning actor and comedian Omid Djallili, Stephen K Amos and Never Mind The Buzzcocks' Phill Jupitus who will be appearing with The Stars of Whose Line is it Anyway?

Locally produced comedians include Tommy Tiernan, Jason Byrne, Dead Cat Bounce, PJ Gallagher, Andrew Maxwell, Ardal O'Hanlon, David O'Doherty, Maeve Higgins, Neil Delamere, The Nualas, Dermot Whelan, David McSavage, Kevin McAleer and more!
