Kathrina Rupit’s first Irish solo show will highlight the talent of a new generation of street artists living in Ireland. With urban art still firmly underground in Ireland’s cultural sub-strata, Kathrina is pioneering stencil art and unusual artistic materials, challenging traditional perceptions of technique, subject matter and style. With the launch of 2011’s “Roadworks” street art event came an attitude of forcing the public to view street art as more than just graffiti.
